Police K9 Agility Course

Late last year, the students of Leadership Rocklin (2019-2020) partnered with the Rocklin Police Officers' Association to create a police K9 agility course. The K9 agility course is a location where law enforcement can train with their K9 partners using obstacles that are designed to replicate certain unusual real life experiences. By having a designated site, the K9s and their handlers can improve themselves by having constant repetitions on a specific obstacle while keeping the risk of injury relatively low for the K9s. The City of Rocklin donated an area of City land, and many citizens and businesses helped the class with financial contributions. One of the businesses that was essential in the preparation of the land was Laser Grading Inc. Peter Elvick was generous with his time and resources.

As you can see in the pictures, the amount of work that Peter put into this project was crucial. The site looks impeccable. The students of Leadership Rocklin (2019-2020) and the RPOA greatly appreciate all that he has done for law enforcement in this area.
